Job Description:
You will be responsible for supporting the operations in Singapore. You will work closely with a team of consultants and assist in servicing clients who require support with their company image, reputation and brand, both offline and online.

You will assist in drafting media releases, press materials, client announcements, presentation materials and social media posts. Excellent writing and editing skills, attention to detail and the ability to write clear and professional copy are important for this role.

As a member of the team, you will also support consultants in developing communications materials and activities to help increase awareness, cultivate interest and improve our clients’ reputation in the eyes of their stakeholders, investors, media and the general public.

You will be exposed to Investor Relations and Public Relations work, including listed company communications, media monitoring, client reporting, content development, social media posting and website updates.

This role is suitable for a fresh graduate or junior candidate who is keen to learn, enjoys writing, is organised, and has an interest in business, media, communications and corporate reputation.

Roles and responsibilities

• Write, edit and assist in issuing media releases on behalf of clients
•  Assist in preparing press materials, client announcements and corporate communications content
• Monitor and report on media releases issued to track effectiveness
• Support consultants in preparing periodic reports, media coverage updates and recommendations
• Assist in crafting brand stories to promote clients’ presence and improve engagement with their stakeholders
• Develop draft talking points for management and employees for media events or interviews
• Create and edit PowerPoint presentation slides
• Assist in preparing content for client websites and social media platforms
• Handle social media posting for clients when required
• Maintain and update client websites using WordPress when needed
• Conduct research on companies, industries, media coverage and relevant market developments
• Support the team in client servicing, coordination and administrative follow-ups
• Assist with media and stakeholder communications when required
• Ensure all written materials are accurate, professional and aligned with client requirements

What you need to succeed in the role

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Finance or a related field is preferred
• Prior internship or work experience in PR, IR, corporate communications, journalism, content writing, marketing or media will be an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to write clearly, professionally and accurately
• Highly competent in using MS Word and PowerPoint
• Able to create and edit PowerPoint presentation slides
• Able to conduct research on companies, industries and media-related topics
• Able to ensure all written content is free of grammatical or factual errors
• Able to polish existing content to improve readability and clarity
• Familiarity with WordPress and ability to maintain or update client websites when needed
• Basic understanding of social media platforms and ability to handle social media posting
• Other digital skills will be an advantage, such as Canva, image editing, video editing or basic website content management
•  Proactive, reliable, responsible and accurate, with strong attention to detail
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Willingness to learn about Investor Relations, Public Relations, listed companies and media relations
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to work
• Able to work independently while staying aligned with the team and client requirements
