About the Role
Sutton is seeking an Account Manager to join its passionate and highly collaborative team of cultural communications specialists.
The successful candidate will play a leading role in developing and delivering strategic communications campaigns for some of the world's most respected arts, culture and creative organisations including museums, galleries, art fairs, festivals and more. They will manage day-to-day client relationships, oversee campaign implementation, generate impactful media coverage, and contribute to the continued growth of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
Support in the development and delivery of communications strategies and campaigns.
Act as a primary day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring a high standard of service and account management.
Draft press materials, media pitches, briefing documents and reports.
Manage approvals, project timelines and campaign logistics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, influencers and key sector stakeholders.
Secure coverage across print, broadcast, digital and social media platforms.
Mentor and support junior team members.
Contribute to new business development, proposals and pitches.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least three years' relevant experience in public relations, communications, media relations or a related field.
A proven track record of securing impactful media coverage across print, broadcast and digital platforms as well as handling digital campaigns.
Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate client objectives into effective communications programmes.
Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
Experienced in managing and motivating junior team members.
A genuine interest in the arts, culture and creative sectors.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Fluency in written Chinese and spoken Cantonese and / or Mandarin.
Existing relationships with cultural, arts and lifestyle media in Hong Kong, Asia and internationally would be highly advantageous.

Position Level
We are currently recruiting for one position in our Hong Kong office, which may be offered at Senior Account Executive, Account Manager or Account Director level, depending on the experience and suitability of the successful candidate.
Applicants who do not fully meet the Account Manager criteria but can demonstrate strong communications experience, including experience within the arts and culture sector, may be considered for a Senior Account Executive position. Candidates with more extensive experience are encouraged to apply and may be considered for an Account Director role.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
