Ashwad Ismail has been appointed as the Head and Editor-in-Chief of Astro AWANI. Ashwad now oversees the entire news operations of the 24-hour news channel, including taking lead in content ideation and distribution across all Astro AWANI's platforms. Most recently Astro AWANI's Managing Editor, Ashwad was the youngest member in the pioneering team of the channel back in 2007 and has held multiple roles such as Journalist, Newscaster, and Head of Breaking News.
