Kinabalu Press Awards 2023 was held in late October at Hilton Kota Kinabalu. The award ceremony was organised by Sabah Journalist Association (SJA), in liaison with Malaysian Press Institute (MPI) as well as a collaboration with the State Government. The awards were divided into three language sections; Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and English as well as photojournalism and television broadcast categories.
