Global CEO advisory firm, Teneo, has acquired AWPeople, the APAC executive search and advisory firm specialising in corporate affairs, strategic communications, investor relations and marketing.

Founder and Managing Director, Anna Whitlam, will continue to lead the business as part of the global Teneo Talent Advisory leadership team, becoming Head of APAC Talent Advisory, based in Australia, with responsibility across the Asia-Pacific region. She confirmed the AWPeople brand would continue, whilst leveraging off the global Teneo network.

Outside of the acquisition, Anna will remain on the board of communications and marketing talent hub, Commtract, of which she is a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director.
