Citigate Dewe Rogerson appoints Global CEO

Accordience has named Charlotte Bilney as the first Global CEO of Citigate Dewe Rogerson (CDR). Charlotte has been CDR’s Co-CEO of APAC for more than a decade in partnership with Jasmine Yap, who will now be the sole CEO of CDR APAC, responsible for offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taipei and Tokyo. The appointment follows the formation of Accordience earlier this year to bring together Citigate Dewe Rogerson, Grayling, Red and Cirkle.

Sarah Scholefield, CEO of Accordience, said, “Charlotte’s is very highly regarded, not only as an expert communications advisor but also as an outstanding leader. I firmly believe that she is expertly positioned to take the business to the next level in terms of growth, opportunity and for CDR to become even more competitive globally.”

Commenting on her appointment, Charlotte said, “CDR is one of the world’s premier financial communications consultancies and has been pioneering in the industry since it started over 50 years ago.  I’ve been with the company for over half its life because of the consistent high calibre of the people I’ve been able to work with, who are expert, clever and collaborative in the way they advise our clients and get the best outcomes.  This is why we get to work with many of the most successful and most interesting companies in the world.”

She added, “As the company’s first global CEO, my focus will be to cement our global positioning and amplify the collaboration across our teams in the UK, mainland Europe, Asia Pacific and the US. As we step up our offer global solutions for our clients.  Excellence in client servicing will continue to be the priority as that is the bedrock for our success.”
