Leon Communications joins global financial communications network

International Financial Communications Group (IFCG) has expanded its network into Asia with the addition of Singapore-based financial and professional services communications consultancy, Leon Communications.

Leon Communications joins PritchittBland Communications in Australia, DAI Partners in the US, and Phoenix Financial PR in the UK in the network of independent communications firms.

Leon Communications founder Tim Williamson says the IFCG connection brings added value for Asian clients and benefits IFCG clients expanding into Asia. “Leon Communications is an Asia-based, Asia-focused strategic communications firm for the financial and professional service sectors, backed by a network of trusted writers, communicators and experts.

“The members of the IFCG network share our sector-focus and client-first ethos. We’re delighted to be a part of IFCG and to partner with like-minded independent agencies to deliver great results for our clients.”

Leeanne Bland, a partner with IFCG founding member, PritchittBland, said Leon Communications brings extensive experience in financial and professional services communications in Asia as well as a strong understanding of the media landscape in the region. “All members of the IFCG offer highly experienced public relations and communications counsel and prioritise a high level of principal involvement on their client accounts. Each employs only senior staff in delivering their service and in their involvement with the media and other communication channels.

“When IFCG was founded we looked to identify specialist financial services consultancies that share this philosophy, and Leon Communications is a good fit in the network.

“With the addition of Leon Communications we have representation in the major financial centres of the US, UK, Australia and Singapore, and have become a truly global affiliation.”
