Nic Fildes is now based in Sydney as the Australia and Pacific Correspondent for the Financial Times. He was previously the publication's London-based Telecoms Correspondent.

Nic has also covered the music and technology industries at various outlets including the Financial Times, The Times, The Independent, and Dow Jones. He has returned to his native Australia after 22 years in the United Kingdom. In his new role, Nic will be covering significant corporate and economic news, politics and regional security stories.
