Corporate affairs firm, Sherson Willis, has strengthened its senior team and expanded its presence into Wellington.
Jamie Johl (pictured, left) has been promoted to Associate Director. She joined Sherson Willis in 2019 following her return from the UK, where she worked at the Commonwealth Secretariat. Jamie's international relations experience also includes roles at the New Zealand Embassy in Washington and the New Zealand Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
Genevieve Maindonald (pictured, right) has joined the team as Senior Associate. She brings extensive public sector experience, including policy advisory roles at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the New Zealand Embassy in Washington, working on the development and human rights portfolios. Genevieve also has experience in stakeholder and iwi engagement, having held various roles in the Office of Treaty Settlements, and will be the firm’s first Wellington-based employee.
Director Rewa Willis said: “We are thrilled to have Genevieve on board. Her strong Government background and experience with Māori and iwi engagement will be an excellent addition to our corporate affairs offering.
“These announcements reflect our commitment to growth and providing clear pathways for our team members to progress in the business, supporting the ongoing delivery of outstanding communications services to our clients.”
