Independent Auckland-based PR agency, Undertow Media has expanded its team with three new hires:
  • Former Newshub journalist, Ireland Hendry-Tennent has joined the agency as Senior Account Manager, as previously reported on Telum. Her skills will be utilised across multiple key accounts, including Freightways, Woolworths, and recent addition, TrailLite.
  • Two new graduates, Ruby Hayes and Klara Allen have stepped into Account Coordinator roles. They will be working on clients including Pic’s Peanut Butter, Bondi Sands, Canadian Club, Roku gin, Laphroaig whisky, Logitech and more.
Founder & Managing Director of Undertow Media, Greer Bland said she was beyond stoked to welcome the new talent to the team: "Ireland is a storytelling whiz with unrivalled insight into the media industry, which is already proving hugely valuable - especially during a period of immense change.

"Klara and Ruby, meanwhile, bring an abundance of enthusiasm, new-age thinking and meticulous attention to detail, which we value extremely highly as an agency. All three have started strong, achieving media wins and helping drive impressive results for our clients."

The appointments come as the agency lands several new accounts including Crocs, the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT), TrailLite, and lifestyle home and body brands, al.ive body, BOOST LAB and OnlyGood.
