Weber Shandwick introduces new global offering
Weber Shandwick has launched Weber Advisory, a new global advisory offering to help C-suite leaders navigate and resolve business, internal and external geopolitical issues and impacts, with strategic use of communications as well as intelligence and data.
The leadership team comprises:
Carolyn, who leads the advisory in the Asia Pacific region, spoke to Telum Media about the shifting expectations of C-suites and the evolving role of communication consultancy. She noted that firms like Weber Shandwick are no longer just delivering strategic communications, they’re also taking on a key role in supporting business continuity and long-term resilience.
"CEOs have been given accountability and responsibility beyond just running a company. They’re now expected to speak out on social, political and cultural issues. In Asia, we’ve seen leaders step in as advocates and to give opinions beyond traditional business matters.
All of this pushed us to evolve our advisory offering as we saw the need to build on our strengths and equip ourselves to support leaders not only in communication, but in managing crises, succession planning, internal engagement, and broader geopolitical impacts."
"It isn’t just about pushing out press releases and securing media interviews for the leaders. We're now helping them shape opinions, take a stance, and guide stakeholders through uncertainty. With a sharp focus on innovation, AI and data-driven insights, we empower leaders to make informed, high-level decisions and guide their stakeholders through complex challenges," she added.
The leadership team comprises:
- Paul Massey, President, South Region
- Sheila Mulligan, President, Central Region
- Greg Prager, interim EMEA CEO
- Carolyn Devanayagam, Head of Corporate Affairs, APAC
- Pam Jenkins, Global Chief Public Affairs Officer
- Kate Bullinger, United Minds CEO
