We seek someone to join our growing information and tech company established as a market leader. 
 
We are looking for an ambitious Associate Executive to join our Taiwan Media Team in Hong Kong. As part of the Media Team, you will work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment to produce news and social media content, engage with prominent industry practitioners, and manage a sophisticated industry contacts platform.  
   
What you will do:   

• Scrutinise and maintain the accuracy of the journalist and media outlet database in accordance with Data Protection laws 
• Build, update and verify journalist and media outlet profiles 
• Accurately and competently action lead generation to create relevant database updates 
• Develop an understanding of the journalist and media landscape, initially within the Asia Pacific region 
• Update, enrich and verify the database on an ad-hoc or formal basis 
• Constantly adhere to Telum Media’s data policies and methodologies 
• Develop editorial skills and abilities necessary for meaningful engagement with journalists to enhance Telum’s content offering 
• Participate in meetings alongside senior colleagues to enhance skills and confidence in engaging with journalists and / or hosting journalist meetings 

What we’re looking for:   

• Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant fields 
• High-level standard of written and spoken English and Chinese 
• Mandarin language skills desirable 
• Knowledge of or a willingness to learn about the local media industry 
• Determined, self-motivated, with a proactive attitude to learning 
• Optimistic and energetic, enjoys working in a Team environment 
• Enthusiastic about maintaining standards and great attention to detail 
• Proven ability to multi-task and work to deadlines 
• Excellent data entry and research skills 
• Computer literate [MS Office] 
• Good communication skills 
• Knowledge of social media (LINE Official Account) operation’s preferrable
