工作內容

We’re looking for an experienced writer-editor to support the production of branded and commercial content across Financial Standard and Money. This role sits at the intersection of editorial craft and commercial delivery. You’ll work closely with editorial, sales, marketing, and research teams to develop, produce, and deliver sponsored and branded content that meets client objectives while maintaining the integrity and quality of our mastheads. This is a hands‑on, individual contributor role. You’ll be directly involved in writing, editing, and shaping feature‑led commercial content, while ensuring delivery is smooth, accurate, and on time.

Why join us

This is a rare opportunity to work across two of Australia’s most respected financial media brands, contributing to commercially important content while maintaining strong editorial standards. You’ll be part of a collaborative, fast‑moving media environment that values quality storytelling, commercial impact, and professional growth, with scope to progress your career within a global organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Producing and editing branded and sponsored content, including articles, special features, media partnerships, events, and awards‑related deliverables

  • Writing and editing longform feature content to a high editorial standard

  • Supporting content workflows by managing schedules, approvals, and deadlines across multiple projects

  • Translating commercial briefs into engaging editorial content that is on‑brand, on‑brief, and on time

  • Commissioning and editing external writers where required

  • Coordinating with media sales, marketing, design, and production teams throughout the content lifecycle

  • Working with Rainmaker Group’s research team to incorporate relevant proprietary insights into content

  • Contributing ideas to the evolution of content formats, including native storytelling, multimedia, and emerging content solutions

What success looks like

  • Consistent delivery of high‑quality branded content that meets editorial and commercial expectations

  • Strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Reliable management of multiple briefs and deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Editorial output that engages audiences while supporting commercial outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Journalism, Communications, or any related field.

  • Has at least 3-5 years of experience writing, editing, or producing branded or commercial content

  • Has strong longform and feature‑writing skills, with high editorial standards

  • Has a background in journalism, media, content agencies, branded content studios, or PR / communications with a strong editorial focus

  • Ability to translate commercial briefs into engaging, high‑quality editorial content

  • Experience juggling multiple content projects, deadlines, and stakeholders

  • Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress) and content workflow tools

  • A genuine interest in financial services, investing, or consumer finance, or the curiosity to build expertise quickly

  • SEO knowledge and experience with social, multimedia, video, or podcast content, is a plus.
