Changes to SMARTdaily's editorial team
- Louise Roberts, formerly SMARTdaily's Editor, is now National Editor 360 Commercial for News Corp Australia's commercial editorial arm, working across NCA divisions including SMARTdaily, Sky, REA Group, Foxtel and HarperCollins. She also works with several external partners for editorial in corporate and government sectors.
- Toni Hetherington has returned to News Corp as Editor of SMARTdaily. Toni previously held senior roles at News Corp including at the Herald Sun, Sunday Herald Sun, Leader newspapers and mX. Most recently, Toni was the Director of Media and Partnerships at charity organisation, Fareshare.
- James Wigney is Deputy Editor and Entertainment Editor at the publication.
- Melanie Burgess, formerly SMARTdaily's Deputy Careers Editor, has been promoted to Associate Editor. She was previously Deputy Editor of the company's Careers section and will continue overseeing Careers alongside her new role.
