Monique McLaughlin has joined Edelman as Head of Health in Australia. She brings over 25 years of experience as an in-house strategic communications advisor, specialising in healthcare and the industrial sector for organisations such as General Electric, Amgen and AstraZeneca.

Edelman said Monique's appointment reflects the strategic focus and rapid growth the agency has achieved in Australia and the region, with particular focus on pharmaceutical, medical technology and consumer wellness.

Monique's appointment follows recent regional appointments of Jenny Granger as Head of Strategy for Edelman’s Health business in the APAC region, Brian Wang as Head of Health for China, and Jenny Jackson, Edelman’s Head of Health in Hong Kong.
