Independent communications consultancy, One Plus One, has appointed Max Burt as Group Account Director. He joins the company in Auckland after seven years at Mango Communications Aoteoroa, and brings experience across the iwi, financial services, telco, FMCG, property, travel and tech sectors.

As well as leading a portfolio of clients, Max will work closely with Managing Director, Kelly Bennett, on business development.

He says he’s excited about the role and relishing the new environment at an independent consultancy. “I really admire the business and culture Kelly and his team have built over the last few years. There’s a great mix of talent on deck and some fantastic clients and opportunities to get stuck into.”

Kelly says this is an exciting hire for the business and a signal of things to come. “Max is awesome. He’s super smart, very strategic and has a talented take on what clients will benefit from. Plus he’s a great guy, so we’re thrilled he’s joined our team in what is a very important role for One Plus One."

Max's appointment comes off the back of a strong 2021 for One Plus One, with the consultancy continuing to grow and currently recruiting from Account Executive level through to Account Director.
