Indonesian journalists expressed their concerns regarding the number of COVID-19 cases which still continues to increase.
New cases, death rates, and the number of patients admitted to hospitals have skyrocketed over the past few weeks. There were 2.178.272 people diagnosed with the virus as of 30
th June 2021, since the first case was announced by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo on 2
nd March 2020.
