Telum Vox Pop: Striking the balance between well-being and work

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle not only enhances our mental well-being, but also our performance at work. However, when faced with mounting pressures in the workplace or looming deadlines, this can often fall to the bottom of our to-do lists.

Ahead of World Health Day, Telum asked a selection of PR and communications practitioners how they strike the right balance between work and well-being.

We spoke with:
  • Donna Campbell, a PR Consultant and three-time cancer survivor.
  • Diane Leow, R/GA's Director of Marketing and Communications (Asia), and mother of a 14-month-old.
  • Leonard Chng, Doctor Anywhere's Corporate Communications & Content Marketing Manager, and an avid cyclist.
  • Edwin Irvanus, Founder and CEO of Creative Boost Communication, who lost 60kg in less than two years.
Some highlights from the discussions:
  • Challenges faced when balancing work with well-being (0:10)
  • Personal tips for healthy living and working (3:46)
  • What can companies and workplaces do to ensure the well-being of their employees? (6:20)
