The PR Group snaps up former TechCrunch senior reporter
APAC technology PR agency, The PR Group, has announced the appointment of Catherine Shu as Director of Content & Media. Based in Taiwan, she will oversee content services offered by the agency and contribute to its growth across Southeast Asia, including working closely with the VC and technology ecosystem.
Catherine was previously a Senior Reporter at TechCrunch for 12 years, where she covered various startups and breaking news from Asia and the US. She had previously contributed analysis pieces on the tech industry in Asia, providing context for international audiences on different markets, sectors, policies and trends. Her reporting has also appeared in the New York Times, Barron’s and the Wall Street Journal.
