Tim Rasbash and Mike Maurice team up to launch Yellow
Adhesive PR Founder and Managing Director, Mike Maurice (above, left) and former Havas Co-maker Founder, Tim Rasbash (above, right), and have teamed up to launch Yellow, an ambassador, advocacy and influencer agency.
Keen to combat what they perceived as an increasing lack of trust within the social influencer industry, the duo set out to redefine the often grey area of influencer and ambassador marketing with the launch of Yellow. Tim, who is Managing Director of the new venture, said, "Whilst Social influencers can be a great solution for brands to drive awareness, word of mouth and even sales, the inauthentic techniques and approaches adopted by many has meant consumer trust for social influencers and the endorsements they represent is on the decline. We want brands and their partners to step away from the one-off highly scripted and transactional based agreements into richer, more mutually beneficial relationships.”
Mike Maurice said the launch of Yellow is an opportunity to dive deeper into the influencer marketing space, and adds extra depth to the services he and the team have been offering at Adhesive. "We’re witnessing a steady rise in the social commerce space and by designing an agency that is anchored in authenticity and true relationships we’re setting a new benchmark for what client success can look like in this area.”
The new agency has launched with foundation clients Sony Electronics and employment marketplace, SEEK in addition to several project-based relationships. Yellow will operate independently from Adhesive, whilst working collaboratively across a number of shared clients.
