Step up & work across national & residential property accounts, as an integral Public Relations member within this full-service, creative-led agency. The successful PR Account Manager will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management and the ongoing strategic direction, growth, profitability and counsel of a national client portfolio. Supporting and directly reporting to the Head of Public Relations, you will hold several years of industry PR experience and an interest in the property client sector.

The Opportunity:

• Assist in the management, strategic direction and growth of clients
• Assist in overseeing the day-to-day management of accounts ensuring that campaign / client outcomes are exceptional
• Manage client budgets, negotiating fees and preparing contracts and invoices
• Use your excellent understanding of social, digital and traditional media to deliver large-scale integrated campaigns
• Collaborate with internal teams across the business (creative, print, advertising)
• Lead, mentor and manage junior staff as required
• Prepare and submit outstanding and regular reports for clients, upward reporting to senior management and regular, positive information sharing with team
• Assist with new and organic client business development
• Interstate travel required

You:

• Live in Melbourne and have full working rights
• Have proven client experience, working across residential or commercial property clients
• Tertiary qualifications in Public Relations is preferred
• Knowledge of global market trends, industry news and competitor activities
• No less than four years of experience in a public relations communications role is preferred
• Excellent proven account management skills
• Experience in people management
• Confident and outgoing
• Well-developed communications, influencing and negotiating skills
