Convergence Communications has continued to strengthen its Auckland presence with the acquisition of communications consultancy, Ramsgate Advisors. This is the agency's second acquisition in the past 12 months, having recently acquired most of the client book of Trio Communications from its founder.

Convergence has also added two new equity partners, welcoming Rick Osborne and Marie Hosking to the team.

A Director at Ramsgate Advisors, Rick's communication and advocacy skills have been developed through senior corporate affairs and government relations roles at organisations including Air New Zealand, Fonterra, Fletcher Building and Māori Television.

Marie’s career has spanned journalism, politics, and in-house corporate affairs. A corporate issues and crisis specialist, she spent close to a decade leading communications at Air New Zealand. Marie has also been an advisor to CEOs and executive teams at ASB Bank, Suncorp NZ and Mercury Energy.
