Darshini Kandasamy takes on a new role

Former Assistant Editor at Malaysiakini, Darshini Kandasamy has started her new role as Editor at Trident Media, a boutique media consultancy and writing firm. She also oversees the production of Between The Lines - a daily email newsletter which delivers contextualised summaries of the top Malaysian news. Between The Lines also produces long-form special reports and explores pertinent issues relating to the country. Darshini was previously based in Singapore and Hong Kong, and her work has been published by various media companies, including The Washington Post and CNN.
