Finsbury, GPG and Hering Schuppener merge

Finsbury, The Glover Park Group (GPG) and Hering Schuppener have come together to form Finsbury Glover Hering. The new firm will combine the complementary strengths of the three advisory firms to counsel chief executives, boards and leaders at public and private companies and nonprofit organisations. The combination formalises the strategic partnership between the three WPP companies, which joined forces in 2017.

Headquartered in New York City, Finsbury Glover Hering will launch in early 2021 and is co-chaired by Finsbury Founder Roland Rudd and GPG Founder Carter Eskew, while Alexander Geiser, Managing Partner at Hering Schuppener, will serve as CEO. Mark Read, CEO of WPP, will join the Board of Directors of the newly integrated company. The merger will see its management team take up 49.99 per cent of the company, with WPP retaining a majority interest.
