Global Counsel bolsters Greater China team and services

Strategic advisory firm Global Counsel has announced the expansion of its Greater China coverage with the addition of Keith Zhai and Houston Huang as Senior Advisers, and Jiayu Li as a Senior Associate. The team will work closely with clients to navigate challenges and opportunities posed by the region's global economic influence and domestic policy ecosystem.

They will assess risks and opportunities and help devise market and regional strategies to optimise client exposure. They will also assist senior decision-makers at global corporations, providing an external perspective on the region.

Benjamin Wegg-Prosser, CEO of Global Counsel, said, "We are pleased to welcome such highly respected individuals to our cadre of experts and look forward to the value they will add to our team. We know only too well from working with a wide range of clients on the evolving landscape of doing business in [the region] and how uncertain and sensitive the issues at hand can be. With our newly expanded team, we hope we can help our clients navigate these challenges."

While Andrew Yeo, Asia Practice Director and Head of Singapore, commented, [The region's] rise and its impact on the global multilateral trade system has been profound, yet global corporates and investors still encounter obstacles navigating its complex domestic policy ecosystem. Our bolstered team of seasoned executives means we can help our clients navigate this ecosystem."
