Joanne Wong returns to FleishmanHillard

FleishmanHillard has appointed Joanne Wong as President of its Asia Pacific operations. Joanne previously spent 19 years at FleishmanHillard, last serving as Executive Vice President, Managing Director - Client Service & Head of Business Development of APAC. Most recently, she was at FTI Consulting as a Senior Managing Director. 

In this new role, Joanne will oversee FleishmanHillard’s operations in nine countries across APAC. Her responsibilities will include new business advancement, regional growth and profits management as well as team development. Joanne will also counsel and train C-suite executives on media and special situation responses and provide support for global clients’ headquarters and boards. 

In her first two decades with FleishmanHillard, Joanne was a key leader in the region, leading APAC operations and profitability, business growth and talent development. On top of setting up the APAC financial services, public affairs and healthcare practices, Joanne also bolstered regional client services and supported client leads across the healthcare, energy and natural resources, technology, manufacturing and supply chain, and consumer sectors.
