Nation Group announces new business models, strengthening its management team with all generations
Nation Group, Publisher of Nation TV, Krungthep Turakij, Thansettakij, PostToday, The Nation, Spring News, Nation STORY, Kom Chad Luek, ThaiNews, The People and Khobsanam, announces its new business models including film, showbiz and content archives while still sticking to its core business which is news provision. With the digital disruption, the editorial team under Nation Group will amplify its efficiency by implementing Generative AI. This year, there will be two movies coming up in the middle and at the end of 2024 from its collaboration with its partners. The Company also plans to sign an MOU with the world's leading festival organiser for Songkran Festival in 2025. Last but not least, Nation Group has leveraged its licenced content into digital assets for commercial purposes.
For news operations, Somchai Meesen, Baakbun Boonlert and Weerasak Pongaksorn are still in charge as previously. However, the Company has strengthened its management team gathered from all generations with their specific expertise to create new dimension for its business including Aura-Orn Akrasanee as Managing Director of The Nation, Naruechapon Tuvapradit as Executive Vice President who is responsible for Creative / Event / Film / Showbiz, Apirawee Pichayadecha as Managing Director of Nation TV, Weerayut Sangkarjang as Managing Director of Krungthep Turakij, Surachai Bunlue as Managing Director of Khobsanam, Pongpiphat Banchanont as Editor-in-Chief of Nation STORY, Piyawit Damrongsat as Managing Director of Kom Chad Luek / ThaiNews and Orawan Pipat as Managing Director of Spring News, all under the management of Shine Bunnag, Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Nation Group.
Nation Group also redesigns its logo to reflect its identity and new business direction, aiming to provide news and content for all.
