Talk us through Out & About with Kids. What is the publication about and what does it aim to achieve?
Out & About with Kids is a multi-platform publication specialising in family travel. We aim to inspire families to spend quality time together on holidays and create memories that will last a lifetime. Readers can research their next family holiday destination in Australia or overseas, find the latest travel news and deals, get expert advice, and enter our competitions to win great prizes. They can also subscribe to our quarterly family travel magazine, sign up to our newsletter, and read past issues online for free.
 
What sort of content do you publish, and how often?
Our quarterly magazine, timed to coincide with the school holidays, can be read both in print and online via Issuu. It features stories about Australian and overseas holiday destinations, travel news, information about upcoming events, hotel reviews, advice, interviews with industry experts and celebrities about their favourite holiday experiences, and the latest travel products families need to know about. In addition, the Out & About with Kids website also showcases the hottest deals, competitions and videos. We also publish a regular newsletter, and actively engage with our loyal followers on Facebook and Instagram. 

What sort of travel content are you covering during COVID-19?
We are mostly covering domestic destinations at the moment but aim to include one New Zealand story per issue and will focus on covering more bubble destinations as they open up.

Any editorial deadlines for people to know about?
Keep in mind that we are a quarterly publication, with long lead times. We usually publish in time for the school holidays, so the best time to contact us with a story idea for our next issue is at the start of the new school term.
