The Economic Reporters Association together with the Bank of Thailand held the analytical articles contest (Lub Kom Kwam Kid) of the year 2023, also known as “Puey Ungphakorn Awards”. The awards have continued for 17 consecutive years with the aim to develop skills in presenting economic news to make society pay more attention to the topic. The award's name “Puey Ungphakorn Award” honors Dr. Puey Ungphakorn, a Thai economic philosopher. The awards ceremony was hosted on 29^th February 2024 to grant the winners in three categories including print, television, and website.

The 1^st winners from each category are; Nakarin Srilert from Krungthep Turakij (Print media), the economic news team from MONO 29 (Television media), Natthaseth Tuida from eFinancethai (Website). The runner-ups, in all categories, are; Pornthep Inprom from Khaosod, Prawit Phadlom from Banking and Insurance, Ananya Janmalee from Thansettakij, Nitchamon Lohakhachornpan from PPTV HD36 's Economics News, Thanonchai Kulsing from Thai PBS, Yaowaluk Boranmoon from Thai News Agency, Khanittha Amornmedwarintara from MCOT HD, Koranat Ploysawat from eFinancethai, abd Rassarin Arunittiwit from Brand Buffet.
