SenateSHJ announces new leadership team and appointments

Independent trans-Tasman consultancy, SenateSHJ has announced a number of changes to its leadership team, as well as a raft of appointments on both sides of the Tasman to further strengthen its client offering.

Maree Wilson steps into the New Zealand Managing Partner role, having joined SenateSHJ in 2020, and heads up the firm’s Corporate Practice. 

Darren Behar has been Managing Partner of SenateSHJ Australia for the past nine years. He now also takes on the newly created Group Chief Growth Officer role to support the firm’s trajectory and expansion of its client service offering.

Jen Nolan has joined the team in Wellington as Partner, leading client projects in SenateSHJ’s corporate and public sector practices. She brings more than 20 years of strategic communications experience to the team, and was previously External Relations Director for the NZ Aluminium Smelter for nine years, and has held several roles for large government agencies.

The consultancy has also announced a number of additions to its trans-Tasman consulting team:
  • Liam Hansen has joined the Wellington office as Client Manager, providing strategic communications advice with a focus on government relations.
  • Dylan Williams joins the Sydney office as a Senior Client Manager, bringing eight years' experience across the political and social impact sectors.
  • Charisma de Jesus joins the team in Melbourne as Senior Client Manager - Insights, boasting more than two decades of experience in market research.
  • Amanda Chong joins the team in Auckland as Office Administrator.
