Edelman has appointed Ed Williams to President, International, effective 1^st July 2023. Currently President and CEO of EMEA, Ed has been with Edelman for 12 years and will expand his remit to oversee its APAC, EMEA, Canada and Latin American markets. The regional CEOs will report to him while Ed himself will continue to report to global President and Chief Operating Officer, Matthew J. Harrington.

Succeeding Ed, Arent Jan (AJ) Hesselink has been named the next CEO of EMEA. Having been with Edelman for nearly eight years, AJ will move on from his current role as Chief Operating Officer of EMEA to oversee 17 offices across the region as well as to join the agency's executive leadership team.
