Updates at Magic Talk
Magic Talk has announced several changes across a variety of programmes, including Mornings, Afternoons and Drive.
Magic Talk Mornings:
Magic Talk Mornings:
- After nearly 50 years in the media, Mornings Host, Peter Williams, has retired. Peter had hosted the programme since 2019.
- Leah Panapa has replaced Peter as Host of Magic Talk's Mornings show. She joins from the station's Afternoons show, which she co-presented with Danny Watson.
- Danny Watson will continue to host Afternoons, which will now be a solo talkback show.
- Ryan Bridge has departed as Host of the Magic Talk's Drive show. He will remain on the airwaves in his new role as Host of Three's The AM Show, which is simulcast on Magic Talk.
- Newshub's former Europe Correspondent, Lloyd Burr, will take over as Host of the Drive show. He will join the network in late September.
- Graeme Hill, Host of Magic Talk's Nights programme, is currently filling in as Host of the Drive slot until Lloyd commences his new role.
