Introducing Asia’s First Sustainability Impact Consortium 2024

Star Media Group of Malaysia, Media Group of Kompas Gramedia of Indonesia, and the Inquirer Group of Companies of the Philippines have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to form the Asia Sustainability Impact Consortium with a mission to promote sustainability principles for green economic growth in the region. The Consortium is a cross-border alliance that aims to leverage the strengths of the three media powerhouses to facilitate collaborative action, collectively reaching 123 million people across Asia.

The Consortium focuses on a three-pronged strategy of education, engagement, and community, led by StarESG, KG Media Lestari, and Inquirer ESG Edge, aiming to integrate sustainability into communities through comprehensive media strategies. To strengthen its impact, the Consortium plans to establish a like-minded fraternity of experts and enthusiasts to serve as a voice of authority on sustainability matters, providing insights and guidance to shape impactful solutions.

The Asia Sustainability Impact Consortium now welcomes participation from other media organisations across Asia interested in joining the alliance. More information can be read from the official press release
