Key appointments to Teneo's APAC financial comms and IR teams
Global CEO advisory firm, Teneo, has announced two senior additions to its financial communications and investor relations teams across the Asia Pacific region.
Katherine Kim has relocated to Sydney from the firm's New York office to spearhead its financial situations work across the region as Senior Managing Director. She specialises in working with transformation transactions and financial situations such as M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, private equity and shareholder activism. Prior to joining Teneo, Katherine built financial sector experience in Sydney and New York and has worked with clients across Asia Pacific, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
In Hong Kong, Lloyd Xu has joined Teneo as Senior Vice President. He is tasked with driving the firm's financial communications and investor relations advisory for companies in the Hong Kong and Mainland China markets. Lloyd was most recently the Co-Head of Investor Relations at Ping An Group and has provided capital markets and IR advice on IPOs, acquisitions, business transformations, restructuring and leadership changes across Greater China, Japan and the US.
Of both appointments, Teneo's CEO, Asia Pacific Strategy & Communications, Lauren Chung said: “We are thrilled to have Katherine and Lloyd join the Asia Pacific team to work alongside our existing team of advisors to navigate clients through the high stakes financial and investor situations we will no doubt face in 2024.”
