Microsoft's Comms Chief to headline PRIA National Conference

The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) has revealed Frank X. Shaw, Chief Communications Officer for Microsoft Corporation, to be the opening keynote speaker at the 2023 PRIA National Conference.

Frank will deliver his keynote "Year One: Communications Reinvention with AI" live onstage at the Hilton Sydney to open the annual conference, being held from 11th to 13th October this year.

An avid technologist, Frank regularly features in PR Power Lists globally, including having featured as the #1 PR Person in Tech by Business Insider, and is responsible for defining and managing communications strategies for Microsoft worldwide.

Louise Harland-Cox, PRIA CEO, said they're thrilled to have Frank join them at this year's conference: “In our current landscape of possibility and transformation I can think of no-one better to open the conference exploring the future of AI in Communications.

“The world is undergoing significant transformational changes that are creating huge opportunities for the PR and Communications industry. Successfully navigating these shifts will require an open mind, a willingness to adapt, and a passion for creating meaningful change”.

Frank said he was looking forward to joining the programme: “I’m excited to join the 2023 PRIA National Conference and share how we have been reinventing communications with AI over the past year, and how we can leverage this reinvention to create even more impact and value in the year ahead.”

Super Early-Bird tickets for PRIA's National Conference, "Ignite The Spark: Harnessing Transformation for Impact", will go on sale from next week.
