New Chief Executive Officer at Malaysian Press Institute (MPI)

Former Harian Metro's Group Editor, Datuk Mustapa Omar has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Malaysian Press Institute (MPI). He replaces Datuk Dr Chamil Wariya whose term ended on 30th June. Datuk Mustapa brings with him 33 years of experience in journalism to the table. He started his career at Berita Harian and served as Harian Metro's Group Editor before his retirement in 2017. News can be read on New Straits Times.
