News Corp to launch Australian Business Network

News Corp Australia will launch a centralised business news desk next month, as part of a move to restructure the company's national business journalism. The Australian Business Network, run by The Australian newspaper, will share print and digital content across News Corp's broadsheet and metropolitan newspapers, including The Daily Telegraph, The Courier-Mail, Herald Sun, and The Advertiser. Existing metropolitan business reporters will be merged with the new national team.

The Australian Business Network will be led by The Australian's Business Editor, Eric Johnston, who brings two decades of business journalism experience to the role, having worked as the Business Editor of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, as well as a Banking Correspondent for The Australian Financial Review. The Australian Business Network will launch on 1st December.
