Shashank Bengali leaves LA Times for The New York Times

Shashank Bengali has been appointed Senior Editor at The New York Times. He will be relocating to London later this year to join the new Live team, which coordinates The Times' real-time coverage of global breaking news events. Prior to this, Shashank was a Southeast Asia Correspondent for the Los Angeles Times in Singapore.
