Tossapol Chaisamritpol has joined BBC Thai Service as Senior Journalist Team Manager, Bangkok based, since 1^st July 2022. In this role, he edits and supervises daily outputs from the team based in Bangkok as well as provides editorial and managerial leadership and maximising the presence of BBC Thai Service on Social Media. He is also responsible for managing editorial projects in collaboration on requests from London and other BBC Services. Prior to this role, he is Founder and former Digital News Editor of TNN WORLD, TNN 16 (Thai News Network). He was also Freelance Video Journalist for AFP (Bangkok) and other online news publications including THE STANDARD and BBC Thai Service (London based). In addition, he was Video Journalist at BBC Thai Service from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, Tossapol has finished his Master of Arts in International Journalism at Cardiff University where he was awarded the Chevening Scholarship.
