Talk us through KK12FM. What is the radio station about and what does it aim to achieve?
Our radio station was conceived from the desire to make local radio more informative and entertaining. We are a small, fun and passionate team of homo-sapiens from various backgrounds, and we strive to promote Kota Kinabalu (KK)'s diverse people and culture.

Our objective will be to highlight stories and issues relatable to orang-orang KK and provide a platform to engage in and listen to topics that matter locally. We also will be featuring a wider variety of music, from international, to local and regional acts.

What sort of content or programmes do you produce, and how often?
We have Make It Happen with Ben Uzair airing every Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am to 10am; and ToraBola X Mawie ObsesiBola Show - all things football - airing every Fridays, 4pm to 6pm. And on social media, basically anything and everything local.

Who is KK12FM’s audience?
Residents of Sabah West Coast. 89.5 is reachable throughout the West Coast in towns like Kota Marudu, Kota Belud, Tuaran, Greater Kota Kinabalu (Inanam, Manggatal, Penampang), Kota Kinabalu CBD, Papar, Beaufort and Sipitang.

Tell us about your team. Who does what?
KK12FM is currently a small team - Farish Aziz is our Station Manager. Glenn Lai is our Sales guy. Tammy is our Producer / Admin / sometimes Designer. We have Abang Spit on technicals and Nuk as our Music Executive. Lead Announcer is Ben Uzair (who produces his own show Make It Happen). Rahim ToraBola and Mawie ObsesiBola are Guest Announcers of Tora Bola X Mawie Obsesi Bola Show.
