Who is absolute PR and what services do the agency offer?
absolute PR is an award-winning integrated lifestyle PR agency established in Singapore since 2005. With a comprehensive suite of hybrid solutions for clients who are looking for effective branding strategies, we work on online and offline platforms as well as above and below the line PR marketing campaigns.

Launched with a single mission to provide quality, true-core PR services to clients who appreciate, understand the true values of Public Relations and yearn to work with a professionally passionate agency that delivers purposeful results. Whether it’s about kick-starting a new brand or injecting a new life into an exhausted brand, absolute PR takes pride in developing the right set of sustainable-integrated PR branding strategies to put clients ahead in their competitions with strong support wherever they need to be. We emphasised on progress over process, quality over quantity and above all value over cost.

We specialised in telling our client’s stories, messages and values through the clever use of right resources to convey and create the right intended awareness. Through strategic public relations, we thrived on compelling and convincing pitches to the right media on traditional, digital and integrated PR.

We love curating new products launches be it physically or virtually and let our creativity take the lead to create a memorable and powerful conversation piece! And lastly, we are obsessed with the endless possibilities in the social space! Engagements, endorsements, experiential experiences sharing – each campaign is thoroughly studied and researched on to achieve the best exponential results and experience one could get!

What industry is your agency specialised in?
absolute PR is primarily specialised in lifestyle FMCGs industry such as the beauty, skincare, aesthetics, fashion, F&B, tech and arts. Secondary industries are the corporate industries from banking, insurance to healthcare etc. 
 
Marine Who is the founder and why did they start the agency? 
Marine, with more than 25 years of extensive PR and branding experiences in the FMCG and MNCs industries, is the sole founder for absolute PR. She started her own PR agency to bridge the service standards back then where she felt that as a PR consultant, one should be able to advise, anticipate and advocate from the client’s perspectives, just like an extension of a family where one looks out for one and another.

Tell us about the leadership team. 
The leadership team in absolute PR is one that is very nurturing and hands on. They basically walk the talk and are always on the look-out for the juniors to ensure they not only have a great exposure of learning opportunities across all job scope but as well as across the different portfolios of clients they attend to. The learning curves are as real as it can get!

What skill sets do you look for in new hires?
The confidence and the never stop learning attitude are what we look for in new hires. If you do not have the necessary qualifications for the job, you need to have at least the right attitude to learn and grasp it fast with great enthusiasm and passion.

In a sentence, describe your ideal relationship with a journalist. 
A Cup of Coffee, A Call or a Catch Up, Any Time, Any Where.

How has COVID change things in your agency?
COVID is a powerful teacher who has taught us nothing is impossible, it’s all in the mind. We have been contemplating for the longest time to actually work from home where everyone need not report to work, day in day out. COVID came and decided it for all. We have not been in the office for the longest time for more than half a year and things worked out well.

We have also collaborated with partners around the world where we didn’t think it was possible before covid and things just happened.

Our agency had worked things out well during the pandemic with many exciting projects coming up nicely towards 2022 and I am proud of how far the team has achieved so far.

What’s next for your agency?
Looking ahead in 2022 – 2023, we definitely want to expand our global network where we look for like-minded agencies to collaborate.
