APCO appoints Chief Client Officer for Southeast Asia

Independent global public affairs and strategic communications consultancy, APCO, has announced the appointment of Ian Rumsby as Chief Client Officer for the Southeast Asia Region. Based in Sydney, he joins with over two decades' experience, having previously served as a Managing Partner at Stonehaven, where he worked closely with APCO to provide support and representation in the Australian market on selective assignments.

Prior to that, Ian held various roles at a global communications firm, where he chaired operations in Australia, served as Chief Strategy Officer, led the firm’s social impact service and worked as the regional head of its culture transformation and change management business.

On the appointment, Chairman of APCO's Asia region, Masayo Nagai said: "Ian is an exceptional professional and we are excited to have him join our team. His expertise and deep ties in Southeast Asia will elevate APCO’s ongoing dedication to our clients and help our company continue to grow in the region.
